Fee-Based Planning Advantage
Fee-Based Planning Advantage
Whether you’re interested in a comprehensive financial plan or just want to focus on a specific financial goal—estate planning, business planning, college planning, etc.—you can choose fee-based planning, which pays the advisor a fixed percentage of assets, or commission-based planning, which pays the advisor for the sale of commissions for sales of investment products (stocks, bonds, funds). One of the many reasons that some clients prefer a fee-based approach is that it firmly aligns advisor and client interests. Regardless of the option you choose, as a CFP®, Robert Leitner is obliged to uphold the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism and diligence.
